W3C is an electronic music producer and DJ from Riga, Latvia, who has released multiple EPs and a couple of vinyl records under record labels all around the world and garnered support from such big names as Aphex Twin, Pinch, Mumdance, Plastician, Björk and others. His music takes the UK sound as a foundation and builds upon it using his own unique touch, which results in a futuristic, percussive and heavy sound that is primed to make every DJ set unforgettable.
Started by Latvian Kristaps Fabiāns Geikins as a project back in 2014 W3C was initially experimenting with merging the UK sound together with Baltimore and Jersey Club rhythms. From this experiment a few singles, remixes and even an EP came out, but soon after the project became more focused on experimenting with the UK sound from any angle. Since then W3C's aural experiments have been released to the world in the form of various EPs, singles and even an album, with a couple of those being released on vinyl records as well.
Deep and dubby basslines, broken beats, alien percussion and funky synths - all of these are staples of W3C's sound and a core characteristic of the project. With his ability to transform and sculpt sound into manifestations no one has ever heard before you can be sure that the future musical output of W3C is going to keep people surprised and raves moving at small, dark basements and festivals alike.
